Swallowing therapy helps children who may have difficulty managing food or liquids safely and efficiently. These concerns may show up as coughing, gagging, prolonged feeding time, food refusal, or difficulty with oral coordination.
Therapy is individualized and may include oral-motor support, positioning guidance, feeding recommendations, and caregiver education.
